Go-karts or actual vehicles are available, but it’s likely to be booked up long in advance, so if ice-karting tickles your fancy it’s worth booking it early.

Intimidating as it may sound, even beginners can tackle ice climbing with the help of a seasoned professional. In Val d’Isere you can scale a sparkling waterfall 200m high to achieve an amazing view and a fantastic sense of achievement.
