In 2030 the station will form part of the new Paris - Lyon - Chambey - St Jean de Maurienne - Turin - Milan TGV high speed link ensuring Sybelles will be the closest ski area to the centre of Paris, taking just 3 hours from Paris to St Jean de Maurienne. With the journey time from St Jean de Maurienne to St Sorlin d'Arves just a short 30 minute transfer, once the new line is operational, this will provide a big alternative to coming by car.
