With five airports to choose from to access the resort, there is plenty of choice:

  • Turin 2 hours
  • Chambery 1 hour 15 mins
  • Grenoble 2 hours
  • Lyon 2 hours
  • Geneva 2 hours 5 mins

With the cable car in Orelle that opened in 2021, just 40 minutes away by car from La Toussuire, for those that fancy a day in the 3 Valleys simply ascend from 900m to 3200m in only 19 minutes to the top of Les Cimes Carron above Val Thorens. Similarly the St Francois de Longchamp/Valmorel (160km) and Valloire/Valmeinier (165km) ski domains are also each just 40 mins away. All run on different lift passes but in essence you have over 1235km of skiing all around you if you include Sybelles as well.

In resort, infrastructure improvements are underway. The first phase brand new cable car "Cote du Bois" is now fully operational while phase 2 going to 2441m to access l’Ouillon in the middle of the ski domain will open for winter 25/26. Once phase 2 is complete the aim is to create the highest recreational park in the Alps.

Within the town of St Jean de Maurienne, just 20 minutes from La Toussuire, there is also the future International train station under construction. Connecting Paris – Lyon – Chambery – St Jean de Maurienne – Turin - Milan, it is Europe's largest infrastructure project.

Planned for completion by 2030, once finished, La Toussuire will become the closest ski resort to the centre of Paris in the French Alps. Taking just 3 hours, we anticipate over the next few years demand and property prices will continue to increase. Please ask for the link to watch the video showing this amazing project. Now is therefore the time to be investing.

If you are into cycling, this region is within the world famous Maurienne Valley with over 800km of linked cycling and 13 mountain passes on your doorstep. The Tour de France comes through Sybelles regularly.

If you'd like to arrange a call to chat further about the ski area or the resort, or you'd like further information on the development including floor plans and latest availability as well as wishing to organise a visit, we'd love to hear from you.

Hi Kenneth, hop all ok there and you had a good visit with Corinne. I've just had a little feedback and as it seems rental income is important, while we've discussed La Toussuire merits and disadvantages (the height of the peaks 2620m), I return here only because rental income is very good thanks to the high occupancy. The new project releases next week (we hope) and wanted to see if you wanted details of the development to look at once ready?
This might be of interest to have a listen to also with a Dutch client that bought in the resort. https://shows.acast.com/63c101e03d134f0010824fef/67b5edb3d24f7fcce863749c
I'll drop you an email now also in case you're not collecting WhatsApps. Thanks.
