The purpose built resort of Les Menuires at an altitude of 1800m arguably has the best position in the Three Valleys and offers speedy, queue free access into the huge Trois Vallees Ski Domain that also includes Meribel and Courchevel.

Set at roughly the treeline with almost all open slopes, the huge Trois Vallees is easily accessed with its 600km of skiing operated by 173 lifts, the biggest lift linked ski area in the world and skiing to 3230m. There is simply nowhere like it for those wanting to cover as much mileage as possible without the need to take the same run repeatedly.

Locally the Les Menuires/St Martin network with its own supply of fast chairlifts and gondolas offers its own impressive 160km of slopes to 2850m.

Thanks to the areas height and orientation there is good snow for a long season and there is a huge amount of off piste challenging skiing south of La Masse. For Intermediates and Beginners there is plenty to offer. For the former above the village the slopes have a lot to offer, while for the latter there are 6 free moving carpets around the nursery slopes with a special lift pass.

For snowboarders there are few drag lifts to be of concern and the newly revamped terrain park at Becca have rails, slides and big air as well as a learner area.

Away from the slopes there is plenty to entertain with a very big and impressive sports, spa and fitness complex and outdoor there is a very impressive 4km toboggan run.
